Lexington football is just nowhere near Louisville football. Period.

 

I predicted a pretty bad beating in this game so this was no suprise to me. Lexington football is no where near Trinity and St. X but the Public Schools in Louisville are not doing very well against them as well. Its not like Ballard or Male is lighting it up this year against Trinity or St. X. So lets not start the stuff of Louisville is so great and Lexington is a flop. Valley or PRP doesn't get any state championship rings if Trinity beats everyone to death.

Simple question; 43-7 and throwing with first string QB is either running it up or sending a message to someone.

If William had left the game after tying the record all week long the focus of the next game (ate least by fans) would be how long will it take for William to break the record plus the inevitible debate comparing Brian and William. The record is now behind him and William (and the whole Trinity team) can concentrate on just one thing, preparing for Boone County.

 

It's also called getting your team ready to play 4 quarters.

Manual may be better than Henry Clay but they lost by 20 to St. X in the playoff game so I don't know if you can say they are head and shoulders better than Henry Clay. They may be better but its pretty close I would say. Either way Manual can't take credit for Trinity whacking Henry Clay. All the public schools in Louisville hate the private schools until the Privates kill the Lexington schools and then they say Louisville Football is WAY better than Lexington, Go Louisville.

Only a few do, you'll note that the Manual supporters are very favorable to the Rocks and the Tigers.

IT was fun last night...though a bit cold, the game was extremely anti-climatic and I was nervous to boot. I got to rap with Brian for a bit....he was even joking around saying that Cov had to quit calling pass plays. Eric Wood was with him, you should have seen the fur coat that HE had on....ouch..

Why do you even bother to explain? Someone in the the X camp brings this up almost every week. I like to stir the pot myself on occasion, but this subject gets old after 8 years of watching Coach Beatty prepare his teams for December and not September.
