Rumor has it that in honor of Corbin's NIBROC Festival and to make it a less hostile environment, there will be a giant "N" in red and white on the turf at midfield.

Also the stadium and area around it will be painted red, white, and black.

The last games I recall that might fall into that category would be the E-town and Rockcastle Co. games back in 2004. Very few thought they could compete with Russell last year..........they competed well, but lost.

Gotta root for the Breds in this one. I say it may be closer than I first thought after hearing about their qb's success and NCC's D-woes.

Cashen just as it is spelled (Cash In). Our wide reciever/tight end is also a name people have trouble with (Rob Madon). I've been to games when he was called Madden, and May-Don. It's just simply May-Dun.

Speaking of which, is there any local papers up in Newport that has discussions on the game?
