Just arrived back from the game and once again for the 2nd wek in a row the fan support just wasnt there. I felt for the Dials kid and hope that the MIR comes back negative. I thought Grimm ran the ball really well.

That really upsets me. JC has won 2 district titles in as many years. And we cant get fans out for the most important games. :irked:

 

 

But I do have an idea, we can tell everybody that JC is playing Paintsville... that should do the trick. :lol:

Can anybody confirm the day when the game between Johnson Central and Lincoln County will be played?

 

It was announced tonight at the Lincoln game that it would be on Friday. I wouldn't be surprised to see an earlier start (6:00?).

I noticed that construction has started on JC's new football locker room.

 

I dont know if it will be just the locker room or if it will have the weight room in it as well. Anyways, I think it is going to be in a good spot... depending on how the new bleachers positioned.

I've heard a lot of people comment about the size of the crowd, but remember prior to this year fans from both teams sat on the same side and JC usually took up about 70% of the seating, this year they added the visitors bleachers thus giving JC fans more room to spread their wings. The crowds may be down a little but I don't think it's as bad as some think.

Congrats to the Golden Eagles on the Win, I hope that you take it all. :thumb:

Congratulations to Johnson Central. It's great to see the Golden Eagles making another post season run. Let's hope we both get to cheer for each other in 3 weeks in Papa Johns. One step at a time, good luck next week. :thumb:

:lol: Man what are you going to do. It'll be another 40 or so weeks before JC has another Home football game, awful long time to have to go without those Hamburgers huh.:lol: You keep showing up, will have to take that Maroon and White off and put some Black and Gold on ya.

When you guys get to Lincoln, you can try the ribeye sandwiches. I never had one of your hamburgers, but the ribeyes are hard to beat.

Johnson Central is a good team, but the lack of a kicking game is going to catch up with them eventually. When you allow your opponent to start on the 35-45 yard line every time it's going to spell trouble.

Hopefully with the new layout of the stadium JC will have a ticket booth. I know no one I was with or the pep bus from Montgomery Co. paid to get into the game. Heck, I never even saw anyone taking up money! Loss of several hundred dollars for both teams.

There was a play in the game I didn't understand. I'll try to explain what happened, but anyone else that was there can add onto it to make it clear.

JC had the ball on there own 20 (approx). QB rolls back and scrambles, ends up in the endzone and gets rid of it to avoid the safety. The first player that the ball touches in an offensive linemen. He actually catches the pass and drops it on the ground. The officials throw flags, get together to discuss and then say there is no flag on the play. Can someone explain why it wasn't illegal touching, a fumble, or grounding?

The new complex there at JC is going to be awesome! I can't wait to see it in the future.

I was at the game as well and wasn't sure about that call either, the guys on the radio said it wasnt a penalty because there was a reciever standing right beside the lineman that touched the pass, and there was it was Shawn Grimm,,,,but i am not sure how that call goes. THe lineman wasn't downfield and there was a reciever in the area so it was like a screen play, but i don't know what the rule on that is.
