BCFan, the home and away status looks like it changes each year. You are correct that Ryle actually hosted 4 playoff games last year. If I am reading the KHSAA site correctly, the higher seed hosts in round 3 so BC would automatically host if they win. Since Ryle is a #2 seed and either Madison Central (#2 seed) or Shelby County (#4 seed) will advance, it looks like Ryle would also host if they win based on the wording of "lower numbered district in odd years" if two teams meet with the same seed. Ryle/Boone are district 6 and Madison Central/Shelby are district 8. I am not 100% sure that Ryle would host since I am not an attorney :lol: but I am 100% sure that Boone would host if they win.

I think Ryle learned a lot from the last matchup. I see them taking this one by 7 with a score late in the 4th Qtr.

I think that Boone has too much experience in playoffs. They will prove to be just too much for the Raiders.

I'd love to see a rematch of two weeks ago with Madison Central traveling to Boone County again. Both teams have tough games this week to get through....

Having had a birds' eye view of the last meeting, the game had a feeling of being far more one-sided than the OT would lead you to believe. I think Boone has seen Ryle's best, and this year, it isn't enough.

I had the chance to check out Ryle vs. Fern Creek. I was impressed with Ryle's ability to play on the road. It did help their cause that FC fumbled the ball the first 4 times the touched it..... If Ryle can get on a roll they can make some noise.... However, next up is Boone Co.. Boone Co always seems to play good football and have a solid team. That is a credit to their program. Im going with Boone in this one..... Tradition will win out on this one...

I'm not sure I can make a prediction on the score here,or the winner for that matter,but I do think the Rebels pull out the win in what may be the best game of the week.Wish I could be there for this one.

Probably due to Boone's 2 long early runs and Boone leading the whole game until late. After that second long run early in the second quarter, Ryle moved the ball better than Boone the rest of the game as the game was even in total yards at about 350 at the end of regulation. Actually, Ryle had Boone on the ropes in the 4th quarter when they took control of the game. I saw it as a very evenly played game with 2 equal teams and Boone's 2 long runs in the first half were the difference. Ryle will play better than they did in game 1. I would think Boone would pass the ball better than game 1. Should be a dandy, who knows, maybe OT again??????? Hard to imagine a more exciting finish than game 1.

I watched this game on TV and beleive me Boone County had two big break aways and if Ryle can contain the big play they will come out on top in the rematch. Both these team's are athletic and physical and hope they don't kill each other in the end. My choice is "GO RYLE RAIDER'S". JD

Boone County by 10, they have shored up their pass defense since the Ryle game. Ryle benefitted in the first game by the short and mid-range pass, they will have more trouble this time. Also, no one has yet to mention that a soccer playoff game was played the night before the first meeting on Ryle's field in a rainstorm. Ryle spent most of the day of the game trying to replace sod on the field. Boone will run all over them this time.
