Yardage means absolutely nothing. Only crossing the goaline counts.

 

I'll be happy to hold Cory to 1 TD again tonight. And to shut down their passing game again.

 

Really ? Yardage means time off the clock in a big way ! If you take out the 83 yd td run Cory had 128 yds .If he avg 3 yds per carry that would be 42 carries .While I do not know how many carries he had ,I do not think he had 42 .Regardless , you know every carry is time off the clock which leads to fewer possessions .

 

I expect Farris to have another good game .It will come down to Boones Def .If they can adjust to the pass and play the run the way they did in the first game it could be very tough for the Raiders to continue there defense of the crown .

 

IMO ,You just can't keep Farris down .I have been wrong before and may be now ,we will see .What a compliment to a RB for the opposing team to say they held him down when he runs for 211 .Remember this is JMO .

I would guess he had 10 carries....nowhere near 42 carries. And nobody cares if he has 500 yards as long as he doesn't score.
