So long Ernie. Back to obscurity with ye, and good riddance.

I'm hoping the GOP learns something from this. But I wouldn't hold my breath.

I'm not sure we're that much better off. We'll see.

But we can't be that much worse off either. Fletcher completely ruined it for the Repubs. He hurt himself from the start messing with the teacher's healthcare and almost causing a sick out. The pay raises they got this year was a make up to try to get their votes back. Guess what Ernie Fletcher is a LOSER!!

Keep your hands on your wallets. It's just a matter of time before Beshear tries to get into them.

The problem I have, and distrust, with Democrats, is that I'm afraid they will tax the working man to death to pay for entltlement programs (which I have always believed are a 1/2 way method of vote buying). We have enough hand outs and give-away easy money programs already. Please don't give us anymore. LBJ and his like perfected this method with his Great Society programs, and others picked up the ball and ran with it.

This is a bigger problem on the national level than the state, but it does exist. I believe in welfare for those that need it, but it has gotten out of hand.

I have to agree with your statement , we have enough programs to help all of those in need. I just hope they don't over do the programs and Tax us to Death. Two things in life are for sure ,as my dad said , Death and Taxes.

Back to the previous 40 years of corrupt Democrat rule....

:thumb: Ain't that the truth!

At least there is one Republican with an exit strategy and pull out date!!!

I really don't think it's a problem in KY as much as some other states. The Democrats tend to be more moderate, even conservative here.

Don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya Ernie! I think Beshear will be fine, Fletch and Bush pretty muched ruined it for all Republicans in the state, Dems won most of the races!
