This comes as no surprise. Anyone who had seen Lafayette play this year had to have seen this coming.

The 6A race is down to four contenders. As coach B said the eyes are foucused. I like that a lot and the D is starting to come around. Go Rocks

Trinity is great at executing offensively. This score comes as no surprise.

With all due respect, Lafayette did not play very well tonight.

Rocks are clicking on all cylinders it appears. At one point, Lafayette had 37 yards total offense on 37 plays. Then the 2nd string came in.

One Dutton seems to be pretty effective to me!

My favorite part of the game was when the Lafeyette faithful became so frustrated in the first half down 35-0, that they started firing the cannon when they got a first down, an act usually reserved for a score.

If Lafayette does not turn the ball over, it will be a much better game than people think......:fight::ylsuper:

:argue:Lafayette lost to HC due to 5 turnovers..... HC did not score an offensive TD for much of the game. Even with all that Lafayette Rec.'s dropped 3 wide open TD's in that game.

If Lafayette is focused it could go down to final minutes where Lafafayette would prevail. Trinity hasn't been there this year......27-24 Lafayette

Both it was hard to watch. Trinity was the best high school team I have seen in person.

Most informed fans around Lexington (and the state for that matter) know that Henry Clay is the only Lexington 6A team with a shot at beating the Rocks.....and that will be an uphill battle if the teams do play in week 3 of the playoffs.

Rock fans were getting alittle disappointed when they would not 'fire the cannon" for us..........only seemed like the neighborly and hospitable thing to do...............:irked::irked:

 

The Lafayette fans were very nice........it will be our pleasure to welcome them to Marshall next year.................

I thought they needed to use up all the gunpowder because it wouldn't survive the winter. :lol:
