October 28, 200718 yr Richt tolk Georgia that if they didn't have one heck of a celebration after their first TD that he would run their tails off! They all ran off the sidelines into the endzone. He is a class act but I thought it was pretty bush league. I don't think Myer was very happy and I don't blame him. Richt was trying to get the point across for his guys to have fun and not be tight. It worked! I agree. I don't like to see that kind of stuff in college football. As for Meyer being unhappy, that is always good thing.
October 28, 200718 yr I have zero problem with Richt's ploy. Its different than stomping the Bird. This was nothing more than an excessive celebration that was properly flagged. Oh yeah, it also worked as planned.

I didn't necessarily think they would before or after this game, but let me ask you what you thought after how they performed against UT? Georgia, like most of the teams in the SEC this year, has their peaks and valleys. They played a great game yesterday, but they are not magically not the team that got devastated by Tennessee, should have lost to Vandy, and lost to South Carolina. I feel worse about UK's chances because of their game against MSU than I do because of UGA's game against Florida.
October 28, 200718 yr I don't see them beating UGA either. The same was said about the LSU game after UK lost to the Gamecocks. Hey, in the SEC anything can happen. A lot of people had doubts about TN and GA also.

Well if both teams play like they did this week, then Georgia DEFINITELY will win..However this Georgia team has also lost to South Carolina, and got killed by Tennessee I believe. This game against Florida was a big rivalry game for them, and they came out harder than they would for any other game this year. They definitely wont have the same intensity against UK as they did against Florida. There was a lot of hate in that rivalry... Both teams have shown that they could do really good when they play one of their best games like UK vs. LSU and Georgia against Florida...So it really is hard to tell who would win the game. However the edge would go to Georgia since it will be at Georgia...
