I wouldn't be surprised if this game goes a bit like the HHS-Madison Central and HHS-LexCath games, with the contest being fairly close and low-scoring for the first half, and the 'Birds opening things up to win by several TDs in the second half.

Pretty impressive non-district schedule. This is not an average Class 3A football squad. I think they will play at at a Lex Cath level of football. Birds will be fired up to close the regualar season perfectly!

Great point. Don't let happen what happened to DMZ and me our senior year. Undefeated going into last regular season game...big favorites...played flat...lost. Although we ended up winning state, that loss was and remains a big blemish on our season. As a result, we fail to get the proper recognition in the "which Highlands team was best debate". Don't let that happen to you boys.

IMO I believe that this game was a great bit of scheduling by Highland. Great idea to familiarize your players to the trip to Louisville. Hopefully, they'll have to make that trip more than once. Central is a very good 3A team. They will benefit from playing UP in their non-district games. I look for a big run from them.(playoffs) With that being said, Highlands merits a spot in the "Best team in the state" conversations. Highlands 38-16

The Stadium is on the corner of 15th Street and Muhammed Ali Blvd. (Walnut Street for the old guys.)

DIRECTIONS:

-I-71 South to I-64 West (Follow signs as if going to St. Louis, MO.)

-Get off at the 9th Street exit in downtown Louisville.

-Go 2-3 blocks to Mahammed Ali Blvd and turn Right.

-Go 6 blocks to 15th Street and start looking for a place to park after you pass under the railroad overpass. Very limited parking you may want to carpool as much as possible.
