Looks like people are picking the Royals, I am not sure if they LIKE the Royals.

 

I will pick them to be one of the top three.

Well whoever said Scott County didnt coast last year is 100% wrong. The only game last year that was a struggle was the state championship game. Personally I think Lex Cath should be number 1. Mason County might as well change their name to the Darius Miller all-stars. I still dont think Mason County has a good TEAM which is why they got beat by a mediocore at best GRC team. And the team that is getting no respect that i might even say is my favorite to win it is UHA. UHA has the tools if hopson and his coach can suck it up and get on the same page the state better watch out.

 

:lol: Mediocore at best? Please. Knowles was one if not the best player in the state last year. Him alone could make any team a good team, but they had all kinds of talent surrounding him. GRC beating Mason was no fluke!

 

But past is past. Mason should be the preseason #1 this year w/ or w/out Mackey at Scott County imo.

I need to go with Mason Co. on this one.

Henry Clay may surprise some. I'm not saying they should be #1. My vote goes to Mason for the first spot.

 

All I am saying is that Henry Clay is argueably in the top three.

Kind of funny that they are ranked I think it was 47 or 48 by Rivals, but says they are coached by Curtis Turley.

It is what it is...Mason County will be #1, followed by Lex Cath, and then Scott.

Throw Lexington Catholic, Mason County and Scott County into a hat and draw one.

 

Everyone else is chasing these three schools in 2007-08.

It isn't like Scott won't be in anyone's top five ... but without Mackey, it's hard to put the Cardinals at #1.

Mason County isn't a bad choice for preseason #1 but I find it hard to put them out in front of everyone else. They didn't even make it out of the 10th region last year.

Those three teams are top 10, but they are not head and shoulders above the rest. There's more than a few teams out west and in Louisville that will be as good or better when the season starts rolling.

Scott Co is still at the top until someone beats them.
