Mason County isn't a bad choice for preseason #1 but I find it hard to put them out in front of everyone else. They didn't even make it out of the 10th region last year.

Take away 40 plus points and nearly 3/4th of the teams assists and your best defensive stopper and thats enough to make any team average. Scott County is not the same team as last year. The Scott County program has earned the right and deserves to be #1 at the start of the season. Will they deserve to be #1 in the middle and the end of this coming season? They'll have to earn it just like anyone else in the state.

There was one team that could still beat any other team despite even poor officiating last year, that was Scott County. They were a train and errant whistles didn't pose a threat to them winning the title. There an NO teams like that this year.

Im gonna have to say Mason and Scott county 1a and 1b... Lex cath at 2 look by the end of the season for a strong louisville ballard team to be looking in!!

Explain why Ballard with only one starter back and no one over 6'3" in the line-up? What makes them the legit team to beat after losing 80% of all their stats and the top defender in the region Johanne Hamilton. Break it down for us. Male, Manual, and Trinity will all be better than Ballard. Just want to hear your reasoning though. Be constructive.

They didnt roll over everybody Mason almost won in scott county last year if you remember correctly.

Almost. Ballard almost won the title game too. But the trophy went to Scott County instead.

The 11th is a little tougher than the 10th. Also as good as Scott Co. was two years ago, I never belived they were the #1 team in the state. They were a team that basically relied on freshman and sophmores. Their lack of experience hurt them against Bullitt East and against Madison Central. If I remember correctly Mason Co. did start a few seniors and juniors last year. I believe you cant compare the two situations.

Mason should be the preseason #1, than the Lex. Cath's, Scott Co"s....and the rest of the usuals will follow. The only thing that could stop Mason is if Miller would to become injured, than the 10th could be a little more competitive than most think.

 

Miller is a very good player and seems to be a very good person, so let's hope he goes injury free and Mason and Mr. Miller get there run!!

Youd be suprised at how tough the 10th is.....GRC. Bishop Brossart and Mason were all top 10 teams last year.
