The new one ......yes!!!!

The new stadium is truely great and is an incredible facility but The Vip could definately have used some work.

Of course, I think Trinity has the best in Kentucky hands down. Not the biggest, but definately the best layout...

 

Cincy St.X has a NICE facility...I just did not like the climb to the press box *=:laugh::laugh:

Without a doubt Highlands! Not only are you right on top of the action and close enough to hear all the chatter on the sidelines, but the stands are tall with plenty of seating. I hate the fields where they have a track in front of you that it seems that you are 50+ yards away. Not very cozy. With some of the new upgrades and the new Millionaire Club coming in the Fall of 08, it's my top place!

 

Highlands is great for football - sometimes, if you are lucky, you get an opportunity to catch an errant punt from the game!

 

And once Highlands completes its Phase II renovation the Port-O-Lets will be removed and the Ladies can return to the Ladies restroom from the men's restrooms!

I am amazed that Ryle and Dixie don't appear often on this list. Highlands has inadequate lighting and Beechwood is nice, but does not compare to Dixie or Ryle.

The new one is truly state of the art. The only downfall I have is the visitors section. Should have put up some more money on that side of the field but overall a great place for High School Football.

 

Although Vipperman Stadium may not have been an eye catching site, the mystique is what made it great, even to me. I remember that game between Belfry and Breahitt Co. for what I believe was the Regional Finals. Unreal field conditions and unreal game.

That situation seems to bounce back and forth from week to week.

Dayton's Davis Field is my all time favorite.

 

The old school "prison yard," there is nothing like a 2000+ cround packing the brim of Davis Field on a Bellevue vs. Dayton game.

I like Lex Cath's and HHS. The one that is suprisingly also up their is the old time look of Johnson Central.

Johnson Central is about to lose its old time look. After the current season is over, the concrete home bleachers are going to be torn down and new metal bleachers are going to be put into place. I personally like the concrete bleachers, but understand its time for some rennovation. The visitors section is already up and has a good amount of seating for visitors. I cant wait to see the finish product next year of JC new stadium. I like the idea of the entrance being on the baseball end of the stadium.

I am an old school Pirate.. Vipperman is MY Belfry.. Cam is an outstanding facility. But there was something in that concrete and mud. I love it..

I love my Pirates no matter where they are.. As for CAM I have never graced the visitors side with my presence.. LOL so I can't comment on that.. I remember that Breathitt game well... There was like 3 inches of mud on the field... couldn't even read #'s. I think Doug Howard changed jerseys a few times.. I was a great game though, would have been better if we had won.. oh well thats football.. gotta take the good with the bad..:fire:

There is nothing like Highlands on a cool Friday Night during football....other than being at Commonwealth Stadium watching the Wildcats.
