Calm down homers, all I am saying is that they aren't that much better than everyone else, I know you love your Lions, but they will not walk thru the region. I enjoy watching them play and probably will more than a few times this season, but they will have some compeptition in the 16th.

 

I'm not an Elliott Co. fan, but I do appreciate their homegrown talent.

Can already sense the green eyed monster's arrival.

Just an opinion here but RH needs to worry about their district first. There are 3 solid teams in there. Fairview has 4 starters back, Ashland and Boyd have 3 back, Boyd has Roger back. If they get out of the district then they can worry about Elliott co. Also Elliott has a tough team in their district that is not getting a whole lot of respect in my opinion in East Carter. They were very close to playing in each other in regional finals last year. They also have 4 starters back if I am correct. :scared:

All team must win games in the regular season , then the district, and the region and then to the state , it is along road to Rupp.

Good observation. The 64th District appears to be balanced from top to bottom. Rose Hill has more potential than do the others but they are still very young. Fairview is in a similar, though probably a little lesser, situation. Boyd County will be dangerous as long as Selby is around and Zornes won't be outcoached. Ashland is on a bit of a downward spiral talentwise but may have enough to win the district this season if Thomas excels- particularly since the district will be played at Ashland.

I agree about East Carter. They have 5 very solid basketball players, and are by far the most athletic team the 16th has to offer.

RA09 East is a fine team,but, the most athletic in the 16th? Have you seen any other teams? I saw at least 5 teams this summer that were not only more athletic but were in better condition.

You have watched several Lexington and Louisville schools play this summer then. East Carter has a team full of athletes.

I would agree that other teams are athletic and have athletes as good or better that East.

I will say this. Drew Johhson is the most athletic player in the region. Have you seen this boy jump. I doubt the others being the most athletic in the area.
