UL fans PLEASE tell me how this D is any better under Petrino?????

Im not a UL fan, but I think they will be ok, especially if they knock off WV. I mean, they lost to Syracuse, not Appy State(who got beat today by Wofford).

UL's secondary, particularly their safety's are playing terribly. Every game their safety's have gotten suckered on routes and play action, or just plain making terrible reads.

The safety play is GOD awful....missing Thomas doesn't help that.

Mark it down. No bowl appearance for the Cards this year.

Help me understand something, how can Jurich claim that this year is all about rebuilding the football program? For the past 9 months all the talk from fans, the media and even UL is how this team will compete for the national championship. All the pieces were in place and all Kragthorpe had to do was keep the team on track and good things will happen. What has happened is a train wreck. Kragthorpe is in over his head.

^ Kragthorpe is not over his head....heck Petrino would've been way over his head in that theory....Kragthorpe is a good coach but some things are going awry. Am I disappointed? sure....but things can certainly be fixed....and things will certainly be ok in the very near future.

It looks like he has lost this team. I admit I am not a UL fan,but still I hate seeing them lose the way they did yesterday. If things don't get turned around quickly, Kragthorpe will be gone.

No...they have it just isn't being represented on the scoreboard right now...they're front 7 have really started to improve....it's the back four that are God awful.
