September 16, 200718 yr How can you say he can't do much more when he had the chance to do much more? You can't give him a free pass on two key plays simply because he had a great game. That's not how it works. So you expect a guy to bat 1.000? In baseball terms he was at about .850 on the day...

That's not how it works. TJ dropped at least 2 passes that I saw that could have made a difference so you can put him in that boat too. Carson threw 2 INTs too.
September 16, 200718 yr So you expect a guy to bat 1.000? In baseball terms he was at about .850 on the day... When he celebrates the way he does, he leaves himself open for criticism. Even if he does have a nearly flawless game. I was all over the 'Soldier' when he bowed after a catch and dropped the next one...
September 17, 200718 yr Re-read my post and you'll get your answer. He had a HUGE day. However, he had two key plays go south on him and it hurt the team. Period. I'm sure Chad would agree with you. The big day is meaningless without a win, and it is minimalized by missing two very key plays.

September 17, 200718 yr So you expect a guy to bat 1.000? In baseball terms he was at about .850 on the day... That shows you how little average means. I want my guy , the best receiver in the league, to make plays WHEN IT COUNTS. He had an awesome day, killed Bodden, but he still hurt the team with those two plays. Sometimes even on a great day you can still come up short at key times.
September 17, 200718 yr Fine. Although it appeared that the first INT was on Chad. In a game like that its foolish to put any of the blame on the O.
September 17, 200718 yr Sometimes even on a great day you can still come up short at key times. Sounds like a severe case of sport imitating life...
September 17, 200718 yr In a game like that its foolish to put any of the blame on the O. No one is blaming the offense for the loss.
September 17, 200718 yr No one is blaming the offense for the loss. I didn't see you calling them out about anything.
September 17, 200718 yr I didn't see you calling them out about anything. I haven't called out any axe murderers today either and said they should be going to jail. Some things are simply too obvious.
