Lesser of two evils is the point of "dumbing down" the offense. UofL and UK are both going to have huge games in the air but we'll just have to wait and see who comes out on top.

With all the blowouts UL had last year why is their defense so inexperienced. Seems like everyone would've gotten plenty of game action last year to prepare for this year.

We lost 7 defensive starters, including 1st round draft pick Amobi Okoye. 7 of 11 last year starters are gone. I think we have some significant inexperience on Defense.

Wiht Okoye and the other starters gone the defense has struggled so far. I like the fact that UL has only had 1 sack in 2 games. Both teams do seem similar though. Both have high-powered offenses and obvious questions on defense.

I saw that earlier..................Arrrrrrrrrrrrggghh. I wanted the complete opposite on the predictions.

Well it depends....they were spending a lot of time in Cover 2 and Cover 4....I think that we'll see a healthy dose of man to man this week, therefore while it is dumbing it down, it also allows these kids to just read and react.

I don't like UK being picked in this game. This is a plus for the Cards. They now have a point to prove coming into this game. Woodson stated that this will be their statement game, and I hope he is right. But the DT's getting injured on a soft run defense already, makes me more than a little bit nervous.

I remember him well. Mason County won the game by 2 in the '03 playoffs, but Leger was a beast. Played his heart out all game long.

Coming from a team that got their butt handed to them last season, that is disrespect. UK's best shot at this one was to say UofL is a great team and that they hope to play well enough to win. By saying we are "exposed" they are breaking down any overconfidance UofL may be bringing into this game.
