September 6, 200719 yr Last night was the first time I'd seen Thompson speak. I really like him! He may not be the perfect politician; but for the qualities needed for that office, I think he's got what it takes. I see him winning the Republican nomination, and he might just ride the Reagan model all the way to the oval office.

He is one heck of a good lawyer, which of course gives him a good start in my book.
