September 5, 200719 yr On two different notes: Every Rose Has It's Thorn (Poison) What A Wonderful Life (Louy Armstrong) We danced to Wonderful Tonight at my wedding so that's up there.
September 5, 200719 yr Never, never gonna give you up Can't get enough of your love babe Barry White - or just about anything by him
September 5, 200719 yr I love dancing to "Unchained Melody". It's a classic. I also have to put my favorite slow song of all time on here and that is Tracy Bird's "Keeper of the Stars".
September 6, 200719 yr As my slow dancing days were a few years prior to most on this board, here are a few more: Hey Jude, the Beatles and Stairway to Heaven, Led Zeppelin (And you were REALLY cool if you kept slow dancing when the song got louder and/or faster. Nothing was going to tear the two of you apart). I'll be There, Jackson 5 Wild Horses, The Rolling Stones Another vote for Unchained Melody, The Righteous Brothers More recent: When You Say Nothing at All, Allison Krauss. This song is just about perfect. Not only is the voice from heaven singing to you, but she's telling you that you don't have to say a thing and that's just fine with her. I Will Always Love You, Dolly Parton Oooh, I'm mad that I forgot that one. The Sundays do a good cover of it. Lucky by Bif Naked is another one that comes to mind.
