IMO if Vick is let back into the NFL then everything Goodell has done has been for nothing. He should let Pacman back in and Thurman back in. Vick killed dogs, and had dog fights..That's just as bad as what everyone else has done. Very stupid and the NFL will suffer if Vick is let back in!

Forget Vick, Keep him out of the NFL forever.

Once he serves his debt, if he has it left in him then he should be allowed to try out. That doesn't mean that a team has to take him but some team will. I am totally appalled at what he did, but once he serves his time then he should be allowed to redeem himself.

 

That said the comments that White was to have said comparing hunting to dog fighting is also appalling to me. Hunting is quick and provides food, and leather and keeps populations in a healthy feeding group. Hanging a dog drowning a dog or beating a dog to death is just mean and violent. Deer don't protect your family, bring in your paper, lead blind people around, or rescue disaster victims, or lick the tears off your face when you are a kid. Dogs have a special relationship with human kind that dates back to cavemen. And since then we have been hunting deer, birds, and other food, and dogs have been there besides us the whole way as our friends.

He didn't kill dogs. Nothing says he killed dogs. Please, show me where it states Vick killed dogs. There is a difference between killing a dog and watching or promoting a dogfight.

Unfortunately in our society, whatever a number of idiots think about a person from particular backgrounds and/or ethnicity usually sticks with them, whether the people who think it may be right or horribly wrong. Our justice system is going down the tube along with the thought process of our people. Innocent til proven guilty is what the justice system in our country is supposed to be based on. It is failing us time after time, even at this very moment.
