No doubt about it. Louisville will be in the FF very soon. I wish I could say the same for UK. Things are heading in the right direction for us but 5 years may be a little too soon to expect another FF for UK. Theres always a chance though.

How is 5 years to soon? If we are not making a run by probably next year at the latest then there will be plenty of people complaining, and if we are still not back in 5 years we will be having ourselves another war between our fan base again...

5 years is more than enough time to get a program back, its not like the team he is taking over is a team that has been terrible and missing the tournament...

Louisville, Tennessee, and UK all 3 stand equally as good of a chance to reach the final four over the next 5 years. In 5 years, there won't be a person who is on the current roster on the team. So alot can change for the positive and also for the negative!

I'll go with no, but frankly, I'd vote on nearly every school in America. Reaching the Final Four these days is very, very difficult, and to predict it happening is tough.

I think UL will have very good years over the next few, but I'll go with "no" on them reaching the Final 4.

Does everyone think Pitino will be in The Ville 5 more years?

I don't think he'll be there that long, that's why I answered no.

IMO, Pitino will retire from Louisville, and I don't think he'll quit until he at least makes a legit run at a Title...Whether that be getting back to the Final Four, or actually winning the big one. I think he's around 5 more years, or until one of the two things above happens, whichever comes first.

No doubt Louisville will be in the Final Four in the next 5 years, I say within the next 2, Pitino has loaded up on talent just like his run at the end at UK.

I will not doubt that they may be in a final four within the next 2 or 3 years but the statement of "Talent Just Like He Had at the end at U.K." imo is ridiculous. An assembly of a team that powerful will not be seen anytime soon or maybe forever. That team imo was definately one of the best of all time.

You could very well be correct on that. I also in a way look for whenever he does retire that U.L. will see B. Donovan (tricky Ricky, Jr. :D ) as their next Head Coach. Just a gut feeling that I have had for a long time.
