Let's see now:

1. I believe that we have the right to keep and bear arms and am not ashamed to say so.

2. I say yes maam, thank you.

3. I cannot stand all of this "hollywood" logic that seems to be the "in" or "liberal" thing to do.

4. I am my own man and can make up my own mind.

5. "I can skin a buck, I can run a trot line" :D ........A Country Boy can survive.

6. I believe in God and am not afraid to say so anywhere in front of anyone.

7. I would rather sit down to a meal/dinner of wild game and or fresh fish than any 5 star restaurant out there anywhere.

8. I love Country Music and think that rap/hip hop is basically trash.

9. If I don't like you I beleive that you will know it.

10. A friend is a friend and I will stand up for them.

11. Usually if someone ask me I will try and help them out if I can and not expect anything in return.

Yep, I am an Official Redneck and am Proud of it. :D

Yep you are a card holding member of the Red Neck Club. I'm glad we have people like you on the roster.

I'm a red neck wannabe.:D

There's a little red neck in all of us, we just have to let it out.

With a pick-up, a Carhartt jacket, baseball hat, and a pair of work boots you will fit right in.

And just don't tell people what you do for a living, some red necks can be so judgemental.:D

Yep! What the true answer is ,,,do your friends consider you a redneck! And my friends do. Of course the majority of them are rednecks. And I'll go a step farther by saying that the most intelligent folk I've met would also fit into that category. For instance, my brother-in-law's father (God rest his soul) built an engine out of magnets. It turned a camshaft, the whole nine, yet required no fuel. Was offered a very large sum by an auto manufacturing company but they wanted him to be hands off after the fact, so being the obstinate redneck he was, he just crushed it all with a sledgehammer. Of course, the latter may also qualify him as the most "ignorant" of the folk I know.

I've always defined redneck a little differently than most. My definition centers around the stars of the TV show "Cops".

I always thought it was funny that people from Kentucky get made fun of for being Hillbillies, but all those people on Cops are from large cities.

:thumb:  Those people from the "concrete jungles" are what I call concrete rednecks.

If that's an accurate description of a "Red Neck", I'm a Card Holder. I even wear Wal-mart jeans. :sssh:

Foxworthy defined redneck-ism as "a glorious lack of sophistication."

I probably don't qualify, because I have never owned a pickup truck. However, I have saved six 'Cool-Whip' containers which I like to use as salad bowls. Am I gettin' there???

I don't consider myself a redneck:

I don't hunt.

I don't have huntin' dogs (We have a Shihtzu and a Lfasa Apso)

I have never been on an episode of COPS.

I don't go shirtless in public (beaches/pools excluded).

My belt buckles can not be seen by the naked eye from space.

I never thought mullets were cool.

I detest Lynard Skynard and Molly Hatchet.

I don't "burn rubber" when I accelerate.

I don't have those awful "smoke stacks" that engulf an entire small town on my diesel pickup truck. I don't have a pickup truck.

I don't have any t-shirts that say "I'm with Stupid".

I have the urge to burn Rebel flags when I see them.

I drink beers whose names are difficult to pronounce.

I don't consider myself "gay" because I like Air Supply and Sara McLaughlin

I actually understand Hearsay's posts.

I don't wear "trucker" style ball caps.

I think Jeff Gordon is actually pretty darn cool.

If "Heaven Ain't a Lot Like Dixie", I still find it a desirable place to dwell in the afterlife.

I don't consider visiting states north of the Ohio River to be engaging in foreign travel.

I have a passport.

I am not ashamed to pronunciate.

That being said, I don't think rednecks are any less of a person than anyone else, and I am proud to call many rednecks my friend.

Wouldn't that be enunciate? :D

You are indeed close if, with those salads, you serve beverages in jelly jars you have saved because "they are perfect for drinks".

Wouldn't that be enunciate? :D

You got me. Good job. I tried to steal a line from Jeff Foxworthy and still screwed it up.:thumb:
