I've been in Lexington and Louisville the past 8 years but down deep I've still got some in me. I guess I can mix with all crowds.

I wouldn't say I'm hard core redneck(I drive a honda), but I definitely rock the dip ring around my jeans and like to drink too much beer after work. Along with a few other redneck ways of life I live out on a day to day basis.

Sorry, but I'm a city slicker.

I have a hard time with this question. I really think I'm somewhere in the middle, but there was no "Yes & No" option. I do lean more to the redneck side.

I would have never believed it!!!!

I came up with a good redneck joke for Foxworthy, but I don't know how to get it to him.

I think this is original.

"If your legs are whiter than your teeth, you might be a redneck"!!!!:D :D

There's a little red neck in all of us, we just have to let it out.

With a pick-up, a Carhartt jacket, baseball hat, and a pair of work boots you will fit right in.

And just don't tell people what you do for a living, some red necks can be so judgemental.:D

I have a Ford pick-up, a two Carhart jean jackets, multiple ball hats and several pair of Wellington boots, so I guess I'm sort of qualified. Plus I have a farm, lots of guns and like to fish and hunt. Now if I could just get rid of this corporate lawyer thing, maybe I could be accepted as a true redneck by other rednecks:banana: Then again, if I got rid of that corporate lawyer thing, I couldn't afford the farm and the guns (not to mention Henry). Guess I better stick with being a redneck wannabe.

I've always defined redneck a little differently than most. My definition centers around the stars of the TV show "Cops".

That's a good one.:thumb:

I was 12 when I moved to Louisville from the hollars of Alabama.

We had to drive 20 miles to a redlight, and it flashed at a four way stop.

Kids and adults made fun of the way I talked. Even my teachers would ask me read out loud in class and laugh. In my first day the teacher wanted to put me back a year.

A lot of things Jeff wrote and talked about I thought wasn't funny, but a way of life. Its funny now and I tell people..."My neck is Crimson".

Then again, if I got rid of that corporate lawyer thing, I couldn't afford the farm and the guns (not to mention Henry).

Always remember:

You DO have the right to remain silent.

Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.

I agree with Ram. If loving every song skynyrd ever wrote, not buying 60 dollar T shirts, wearing jeans that have holes in the knees because you wore them too long not because you paid extra money for them, living on a hill so large that if you don't drive a 4 wheel drive truck your gonna walk up it all winter, wishing you could have met Waylon Jennings and feeling most comfortable in a pair of jeans, boots and a white t shirt makes a person a red neck then I suppose I am.

I feel like I fall under the "good ol' boy" category that ram described. My friends vastly out number my enemies. I call people I don't know mamm and sir and I open doors for ladies.

I love nice things just like everyone else but don't need them at all to be happy.

90 percent of the parties I attend involve a field, a live band and a huge fire. I guess you could say I have a little redneck in me. Atleast a little Honkey.

I couldn't say it any better.
