I am a Catholic and a registered Democrat . I vote my conscience and not a straight party line , but more than likely will vote democrat on local issues .

I am a Protestant and a registered Democrat. I usually vote a straight party line.

Come on, we all know you are a closet Hillary supporter. That is about the only thing worse than what you state above.:sssh: :D:p

Hey...Hey...Hey....don't make me bring out my Hillary avatar....and you know I will.

I am a Catholic that wouldn't vote for a Republican no matter how much money someone offered me......there I said it.;)

A clash of Titans....

I am a Baptist (and since baptist are not protestant) I couldn't vote in the pole. I do not vote party but convictions . . . none of the front runners from either party would get my vote to date. The field is wide open and I am still waiting.

I am a protestant who always votes republican. Shocker.

I am a protestant that votes for whoever I feel is the best person for the job. I have very seldom voted a straight ticket although I must say that with the more invasion of the flaming liberals that seemed to have taken over what once was the democratic party it has gotten hard for me to vote that way. I do not think that all republicans are all Christians, I know that God is not spelled G.O.P. I also know that not all democrats are doomed to burn for eternity. There are good, solid Christians that are members of both parties. It has been said by some that you cannot legislate morality. That may be true but imo a person does not have to vote for "no" morality. I cannot tell you who I will vote for right now(and probably wouldn't anyway ) bc I obviously do not know who will be running.

I can promise that I will NOT vote for Hillary Clinton. That for now is the only thing that I am sure of.

:thumb: Very well said, I feel the same way.

Can I vote more than once? They let me do in the local elections.

They let me do that in other states. Why do you think Florida had a recount in 2000 and Ohio in 2004? :D

Since when did Baptists cease being classified as Protestants?

I try to vote for the best person on my side.

Since when did Baptists cease being classified as Protestants?

Don't get it started. They may start Protesting again.:D And we all know what happened last time... J/K! Peace people peace.

From a historical and Catholic perspective the majority of Christian faiths are labeled protestants the exceptions are the Eastern Orthodox churches and the Ethopian, Egyptian and other original African Christian Churches. Otherwise if you are a western christian church then you are considered to be a Protestant. But many groups broke with the original Protestant groups or claim to be separate from any historical theologic organization and therefore are not assoicated with the rest of Europian Christian history and do not want to carry that label. Reguardless they are still Protestant by the general definition that a protestant is someone of christian faith from a western backgorund that is not a Catholic. At least for the sake of this simple poll.
