True, although it is better than being a Cub... j/k

When it comes down to it, I'd take AP over AR. With Albert at the plate a pitcher thinks different, just like with Bonds. With Rowand, I don't think so. He doesn't have that intimidation factor working for him. Then again, KRod isn't one that I would try to intimidate, either.

:fight:

Yeah I knew that was coming and he isn't the best player in the league, at least not this year. Kobe is a different cocky than Albert. I just don't like him, I dk what else to say .

Different cocky. I like that:D One thing about Pujols is that smirk he has on his face when at the plate. If I had a ball in my hand and capable of 90+ mph, the smirk would be going away:D

That is one of the things I hate the most. Seriously I can't stand to look at him. When he hitting in the HR derby I turned it off.

I dunno if its a smirk but theres something jacked up with his face when he's batting, in the words of Colin Cowherd, he's a mouth breathing booger eater

Some how I think that if he was wearing a Cubs or Reds uni you guys would feel a little different.

Na, you can keep his 6.2 second 40, I'll take Derrick Lee over Pooholes every day of the week

I'm not a Reds fan or a Cubs fan. I don't wear a Cardinals hat, if that's what you mean. But I also get the feeling if it were Barry Bonds, A-Rod, or Jason Giambi griping about not getting to play, there would be several on here telling them to shut up and be grateful they were an All_Star. It cuts both ways.

And just for the record the only Card I'd take over a Cub is a healthy Carpenter, BUT I do really like Rolen

I think LaRussa's decision was ridiculous, it clearly came wrapped in some behind-the-scenes agenda, and Pujols certainly was the logical choice to hit there.

That being said, Albert would have been well served to just keep it to himself because it is too easy for people that don't like him to latch on and paint him as selfish. I'm no Cardinal fan, but I have a ton of respect for Albert and think he should just figure out when to keep his frustrations to himself.

It does make you wonder what type of message LaRussa was trying to send Albert...he didn't do that on accident.

And then to say afterwards "We had the right hitter in there" WOW! Clearly sending some sort of a message.

What message that is, I guess we'll find out.

  Lee's good, but he's nowhere near Pujols....
