The Greatest fan
We're heading to Myrtle next week and it's our 1st time there. I know I'll get plenty of responses here. So, everybody throw some really good places to eat at me.

LRCW
The Damon's at Barefoot Landing is the Best I have ever been to. And it is no longer there. Ron Jons Surf Shop now occupies that spot. My favorites are Ymato Japanese Steak House located at Broadway at the Beach, TBonz Fiesta Del Burro Loco Carolina Roadhouse California Dreamin Landry's Seafood House
NEERFAN
Last year we planned on visiting Damon's and the night we went to BL they were cleaning the place out.

Freebird23
Merrrils Inlet - several of the eateries on the Inlet have been rated very high or best in Southern Living Magazine. If you like low country cook'n - you'll like Merrils Inlet. It's several miles south of Myrtle Beach.
98NCCalum
Dicks Last Resort is "fun" I suppose but the food is awful.
sweet16
I think the name was Original Benjamin's Seafood Buffett. It was expensive but worth it. I will look when I get home to see what it was for sure.
oldrambler
TGF if you do not mind what is a short drive to Murrellss Inlet to the south then Drunken Jacks is excellent. By far my favorite, they have great seafood as do a lot of M.B. eateries. T-Bonz had been mentioned and is a great steak place. If you like "old time" rock-n-roll there is a place at "Broadway at the Beach" that has old time hamburgers, Onion Rings, b.b.q. sandwiches, milk shakes and the like. They play the oldies rock "60's and the waiters wil break out into dance every now and then. It is called Johnny Rockets. There are also several other very good places at Broadway at the Beach and Barefoot Landing. My trips include Drunken Jacks and T-Bonz as must meals. The House of Blues is also a very good place. Have fun and have some Flounder, Scallops and Shrimp at Drunken Jacks for me :ylsuper: .
