July 6, 200719 yr Over the years Duke and Coach K have got break after break, on and off the court, and the media is usually so pro-Duke and Coach K it is bordering on idol worship. Hey.... hes not just a basketball coach. He is someone that wants to make you a great person who just happens to play basketball.

If you want to make that comparison (UK and Duke), then it should be made between coach and coach, not coach and fans. Fans complain about nearly everything, and not just fans of one school, all of them. But coaches rarely come out with this type of whinery.

Then it's probably pretty safe to say Duke fans had been doing some whining as well. And I don't recall for sure if Tubby mentioned anything about the Minneapolis posting; maybe he did (not that it excuses anyone — fans or coaches — from childish behavior).

Fans all over the country can be idiots. If we want to do a thread about fans we can fuss about everyone. We are simply discussing Coach K and how everyone feels about his remarks.
