June 24, 200719 yr I think the problem is less with U of L than it is with UK. U of L will be on National TV plenty of times this coming season--many in contests with less-than-stimulating opponents. The reason no one has picked this game up is because there are quite a few tantalizing games going on around the country on Sept 15. and the U of L/UK contest has been about as lopsided as they come recently. Other games set for Sept 15: Notre Dame vs Michigan Tennessee vs Florida Ohio State vs Washington USC vs Nebraska Nice work, Mitch. Once again, in your own hapless way, you've shown yourself to be totally inferior to TJ. UL is on national tv a lot during the week. Is it really Mitch or Rich?

Nobody is not picking this game up because they don't think it will be a good game. Louisville will be a very slight favorite with the oddsmakers (1TD or less.)

June 24, 200719 yr Nationally UK-UL football game is a non entity. Not many outside the Commonwealth care at all about this game. Take a look about what's being discussed here. UK lower echelon SEC team that scrapes to minor bowl game once in a while and UL who is in the "Big 3" in the Big East. And those other two are WVU and Rutgers. Not awe inspiring nationally. Should the locals get to see it? Sure. Beyind that though this game is pretty meaningless in a national perspective

If you wanted a football fix on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend, you watched UK/UL. And that was coast to coast. Now, nothing. Guess UK got what they wanted...
