Everyone seems to have forgotten that a play which looked like a sure touchdown and ended up being a lost fumble on the goal line the last time these two teams played in Commonwealth was all that separated the two teams. UK is very much improved since then, and I expect the series to get a lot more interesting RIGHT NOW. First off, the arrogance of a few of us U of L fans doesn't effect the team, one way or another. One thing I do know, is that this group of young men, feel that they have accomplished nothing to date...and they are really, really hungry. Like it or not, they ARE more talented than UK right now...I wouldn't look for the passive play calling which allowed for that game to be close, in this year's edition. With that, UK has improved, but U of L has as well, the seperation is still there.

And again you hang your hat on that last game that you LOST. UK may be improved but then again so is Louisville. As to playing to anyones favor, don't you think that the attitude of UK fans regarding the last game in Lexington will play to Louisville's favor as they will be more inspired to show the score of that game was just a fluke? As far as UK's will as it pertains to scheduling the game as they see fit every other year, yes, by all means you should accept it and get on with your life. The rest of your post doesn't make any sense. If you are asking if the last game in Lexington plays into U of L's favor, I'm going to say no. :lol:

We know you like to get your shots in on UK when you have a chance, but its getting a bit ridiculous. UK moved the game. Big deal. The way the UofL fans talk, its going to be a thrashing anyway. Who wants to see that? If you do, come on down to Lexington. Commonwealth has a lot of seats, I'm sure you can get a ticket.

The fact is that Brooks has not only failed to beat Louisville, he's failed to hold the lead, ever. He's been outscored 158-76. He's been outgained 1878-1176, and outgained 1073-243 on the ground. Twice UK has failed to break 50 yards rushing against Louisville. If you understand college football, those are all the simple facts you need to know in this series. Louisville has flat DOMINATED Kentucky on the ground. Until it looks like that will change (which it doesn't this year) talking about this series getting more interesting is a little premature.

It has nothing to do with the quality team that U of L is, or with whom they play....the rest of your post was dead on, however, UK fans need to realize what is happening now, isn't what the athletic department at UK envisioned, and they should make them feel pressure in that something that "could" help their team, won't happen again.

That's funny. Glad to see you have already determined that Krag will be a better coach/play caller than Petrino. :lol: I'm not saying U of L isn't more talented than UK. I not saying they are either. Besides, as someone with your understanding of college football knows, the most talented team doesn't always win, especially on the road. Again, the Las Vegas line on this game will be VERY slim...

That reverse to Douglas on the first play from scrimmage with Brohm lead blocking downfield? Perfection.:ylsuper:

Florida and Florida International, Texas and University of Texas El-Paso, Louisville and Kentucky, all these teams are on the same level because what happened in the past has absolutely no bearing on the teams this season.:thumb:

If wouldn't have looked like perfection if Brohm had got wiped out by a DL or LB and been out for the year.
June 24, 200719 yr ^ Brian plays hard regardless...if he got hurt, while it would've sucked...there is a more than capable backup in Hunter Cantwell....Petrino realized being passive two seasons ago wouldn't help him get to a BCS game...he rectified that last season...and Krag will follow suit.
