June 11, 200719 yr Ok, I'll rephrase, any non-republican will laugh I dunno, I'm not a Bush fan, but from the previews I saw it looked like it was going to be your typical anti-Bush humor, which has been played out after all these years. I mean, I could be wrong, the show could be hilarious, but there's been nothing I've seen yet that makes me WANT to watch it.

Like him or not, Bush is the leader of our country, and he deserves some respect. Now I know that SNL has been doing this for years, but I think it is going over the top.

In a nut shell, that's the progressive movement that you're seeing alot of in this country especially with and along side the secular movement. Jesus doesn't even get respect anymore on tv comedies(yes they can be funny, but no I don't think they're right and in bad taste), how would you really expect our president to. Unfortunately it seems that's the direction this "Great Nation" has chosen to take, and unfortunately most are ok with that.
June 14, 200719 yr Now that this show has finally aired and I took the time to watch it, I'll throw in just one thing: Beyond the fact that the show is lowbrow, tasteless and disrespectful, there is one glaring problem: it isn't funny. I don't really care how over-the-top and harsh a show wants to be, if I think it's entertaining, I'm going to watch it. But this show is insulting to anyone that can think; there's wasn't an original idea from start to finish, the jokes were incomplete and the animation style is awful. No matter what the general audience's politics, not being funny should put an end to it pretty quickly.
June 14, 200719 yr I watched 5 minutes and didn't find it one bit entertaining. The only reason I even gave it a try was because it came on right after South Park.
June 14, 200719 yr I think it's hilarious that people on here think it is disrespectful. How many of you watch South Park or Family Guy? Both have used Jesus in their jokes. I watch those shows, and find that disrespectful. This show? Maybe not that funny, but who cares if they are making fun of the President? It's a free country and there's no harm in it.

As far as it being disrespectful? Celeb's and politicians are in the spotlight, comes with the territory. All you have to do is read some posts on this forum to see so-called disrespectful posts about people.
