There are 2 varsity divisions, a JV division, a Frosh division, and a middle school division. It's a HUGE camp. About 110 total teams.

Should be some good games.

Magoffin County tradiotionally has attended this camp. Not sure if that is still the case.

Looks like there may be a minimum of 7-8 sweet sixteen contenders at this camp. Hopefully someone can keep us abreast of the games.

My nephew, Georgetown College assistant coach, helps run these camps. Good luck Jason in your camps this summer.:thumb:

Anyone have any updates on this camp. Quite a few good teams playing in this one.

Just got back in from the Camp. Was a very good camp and I am always impressed by the way it is ran. Our Augusta boys played hard and showed some good teamwork and look to keep improving this summer.

I am not sure about how they got all the refs for theses games but they worked hard, for the most part. There were some refs that would not even move past half court. That would be the only thing that needs some work. At some gyms you would have three refs on the floor and on others there were no real officials. Would be nice to have them work together.

All in all its was a good time and I look forward to going again next year.

Estill County Finished 11-3 in the Varsity B Division. They were second seed in the Tourney Sunday (With Perry County Central being the #1 seed). Lincoln WV beat them in the Semifinals of the Tourney. They finished in fourth place out of 20 teams.

Who had the better records at the camp, and who ended up winning it?

Is there a webste to check the results of the camp?

From what I have saw. Estill County coach was out of hand on several occasions griping at the young officials. He intimidated several of them and acted foolish.

All coaches need to remember that it is summer ball and the refs are trying to get better too, just like your team.
