June 6, 200719 yr Girls get a lot hotter in the summer and I don't mean because of the heat. Actually, it really kind of starts at spring break. I remember when I was at WKU, when the Monday right after spring break rolled around, my buddies would come pick me up at about 8 a.m. We would head to the beer store, then ride around campus all day checking out all the girls sporting not much clothing to show off their new tans. It went like that for the whole week following spring break. Good times. :devil:
June 6, 200719 yr Still, summer classes are sooooooooooo much more laid back than their fall/spring counterparts. :lol: True, I'm in a speech class where I really don't even have to give a speech. It's still school though.

June 6, 200719 yr You're talking to the wrong person! :lol: I've yet to turn on any air conditioning! :lol: Once it gets to about Mid-November, I'm chilled to the bone, and I mean literally. I can't seem to get warm no matter what, no matter how many clothes I put on. And anyone who knows me knows I have WAY more than my fair share of huge, bulky wool sweaters. :lol: RM you know my opinion on this well by now I think.
June 6, 200719 yr I can't believe that everybody has happened to overlook the best thing about summer. After a nice, hot day on the lake, nothing beats sitting on the porch and sipping on a nice, cold PEACH NEHI!!! You can't beat it with a stick!!!:thumb:
June 6, 200719 yr Laying the plastic out on the hill, cranking up the hose and having a belly flopping water slide contest with the kids. Not much good for the grass but great for the blood pressure.
June 6, 200719 yr Hearsay, this Sunday afternoon church picnic. Everyone invited. Homemade ice cream, ball games, games, sweet tea. Green grass, ice tea, softball games, Yankees, reruns on TV, football season is coming, no frozen ice storms. Now my locomotive cab can get very hot in the summer, and if we are sitting still....well you can imagine.

June 6, 200719 yr Baseball. Grill-outs with cornhole. A nice cold adult beverage. Hanging out with friends and family. Taking the daughter to the zoo or park. Festivals/Carnivals. Sitting on the back deck or porch at night and listening to the crickets and frogs. Riding around with the windows down. Working outside, whether its landscaping jobs or construction. (I need to start doing this on the side again.) The smell of freshly cut grass.
