May 23, 200719 yr Still very good news for Atlanta. If they were below 3 the Suns got the pick... They also got the Pacers pick at #11....I'd say all in all, a great night for Atlanta.

May 23, 200719 yr The Blazers will be upgrading very soon...the Pacific Northwest looks to be stepping up. Did Seattle getting the #2 pick keep them in the Pacific Northwest?
May 23, 200719 yr Did Seattle getting the #2 pick keep them in the Pacific Northwest? Not in my opinion... They still don't have the support of city officials. Fan interest was never the problem.
May 23, 200719 yr Author The Sports Guy has to just be beside himself... Someone needs to talk him down off the ledge. The is the worst possible situation for the NBA IMO. Now the East/West divide becomes even more apparent. It makes me sick that the Blazers got the #1.
May 23, 200719 yr Watch out for Portland and Seattle next year. Throw Oden on a team with last years rookie of the year and things look bright. Also Durant to Seattle playing beside Ray Allan and possibly Lewis and the Sonics may lead the league in scoring. Does this ultimately keep the Sonics in Seattle and Lewis in a Sonic uniform? I don't know but it sure helps.
