May 24, 200719 yr They'll be serious contenders in the West within 3 years.... Even when they were serious with Pippen and company you seen them once a week it is a night mare for the NBA especially after the fiasco with the Suns/Spurs this year........ See the past Suns, Lakers, Mavericks, Spurs, where do the other 2 fit on the Sunday schedule???????
May 24, 200719 yr Even when they were serious with Pippen and company you seen them once a week it is a night mare for the NBA especially after the fiasco with the Suns/Spurs this year........ True, but they'll still get a lot of national attention....It might not be televised games, but tons of coverage.
May 24, 200719 yr I don't know if this has been discussed or not, but do you think the lottery system is fair? I just think the worst team should get the 1st pick and so on.

It keeps teams from tanking the last two months of the season when they know there is no shot at the playoffs. As for fairness, Portland had 5 combinations of ping pong balls out of a total of 1000 to win the lottery (.5%). Memphis had 250 combinations to their claim, thus the 25% chance at the first pick. That's why this is such an "upset". This sparks an interest in the draft and events leading up without a doubt....
