Some may not believe me, but I would never ask for money. Just the baseball purist in me, I guess.

I've met several MLB players and have numerous autographed Baseballs, but I could never ask for money, then pass by a mirror and look into it.

I respect that but the autographs and the like really don't mean that much to me. Don't get me wrong, I love baseball and respect the game but I just don't really have desire for memorabilia. If I could set my family up financially from it, I'm sorry but I would do it.

Agreed.

Besides, don't they make an announcement regarding any ball hit into the stands.....? I'm a law abider, my friend.

Well if I were to catch it then that would mean it's mine. I purchased the ticket so it's rightfully mine. I would sell it back or make ESPN headlines and just blow the ball up! HAHAHA..

I would give it to SID BREAM!

See if anyone can figure out that reference. lol

You mean when Sid (and I'll use the term loosely) ran around 3rd base and scored on a ball to short left field and Bonds could not throw him out and the Braves wont he playoffs? That Sid Bream?

YEP, one of the more exciting finishes in baseball playoff history. Bonds throw was offline and the Braves went on to win.

I can imagine Sid is doing just fine financially, but it would be such an ODD choice, it would be fun just for that. lol

Loved "The Night When Sid Slid" Stuck it to the Pirates and Bonds.

Sell it to Bonds and everyone wins.

Glad to meet you, Mr. Ghandi.

That's funny!

It would go to Bonds, but he would pay for it. I've noticed that ballplayers think they have the right to charge me and my son $25 for them to sign their name, so I have the right to charge him for his record-setting baseball. Fair is fair. Or maybe I'm just greedy. I'd let Bonds think I was willing to sell it to the highest bidder in an effort to get the most $$$ I could out of him, but ultimately it would go back to him. Geez, I guess I am greedy.
