Billy G watches Pettigrew and Walls today

I still think that Carrier wasn't even close to being the best high school player on his team at BG, yet somehow he received a scholarship from UK.
Carrier was, at best, the seventh best player in the state that year ... granted, it was a very talented class. The key was that Carrier didn't make the AAU summer circuit before his senior year because of a "sprained ankle" ... if he had, he would have been exposed.

I saw him play a couple of times that year and each time Terrez Dewalt was the best player on the floor.

LMB...I agree with you on what you was saying.

There is one more factor involved as well.

That's funny because I know Matt Walls pretty well and as I understand it the choices are down to 2 schools.

I know the family too, and there is one school that could come into play that I didn't see mentioned here.

Marshall was in today to watch Matt at open gym.

Tenn. State was there to check out Rodney Haddix.

Now I"m confused? Haddix was playing at a Prep school wasn't he? I thought he was a football stud?

Haddix played basketball at a prep school in Nevada, but missed much of the season with an injury ... a broken foot, maybe?

I assume he's back in school at Scott County now?

I believe he was the QB for the Cards.

When haddix played he was a w.o. and def. back. But he was a better basket

ball player. And yes he had a broken foot. It happen when he returned from chistmas brake and he came back to S.C. to finish out school.:walk:

Thought I heard Haddix was probably going to prep again?

There is a chance Walls and Pettigrew will be playing on the same college team, Marshall.
