April 15, 200719 yr The daily rhythms of the game have a way of working out early hot streaks and slumps, and that should tell you it's way too early to be worrying too much. If the aforementioned are still having trouble after game 30, then I'll start worrying.

Edwin isn't swinging at good pitches and has to ward off a sophomore slump. Arroyo has a 8.28 ERA since last July.

It's only 12 games into the season. I have to question your Arroyo stat. Arroyo struggled midseason last year, but finished pretty strong, and has pitched pretty well so far this season.

Your ERA numbers are right and I retract my statement about Arroyo. The 5-9 record is right though.

April 16, 200719 yr You couldn't ask for more out of the starting pitching at this point. Lohse has been very good as well as Belisle. It's good to see the starters aren't wearing out the BP just yet. Hopefully Bray and PeeWee get back soon.
