All Play No Work Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 Anyone worried that Ross needs to get hot just to get on the interstate with his batting average? What about Griffey? Just the normal lack of the long ball early on like other years? What about the BIG TWO in the rotation? Any worries? Phillips going to be okay?
HammerTime Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 Ross- I am very worried about. Griff- When are we ever not worried about him The big two- I am some what concerned with Bronson but not Harang. Phillips- I think he will be just fine.
U Reach I Teach Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Ross- I am very worried about. Griff- When are we ever not worried about him The big two- I am some what concerned with Bronson but not Harang. Phillips- I think he will be just fine. Bronson has pitched well despite his 0-2 record.. He is a victim of lack of run support!
U Reach I Teach Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Ross definately.. Valentin is a better hitter.. I would play him more!
HammerTime Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Bronson has pitched well despite his 0-2 record.. He is a victim of lack of run support! This is why I am worried. Arroyo is 5-9 with an 8.28 ERA since July 4.
nees1212 Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 None. Check back with me in a month. :thumb: WAY too early to tell anything.
MysteriousOnes Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Bronson has pitched well despite his 0-2 record.. He is a victim of lack of run support! And errors....
The Scribe Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 I'd be concerned with Arroyo, Ross, and Edwin if I were a Reds fan.
Habib Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Hitters are so streaky. We haven't seen enough of EE, BP, or Griff to know. The only thing I'm worried about is Ross. He isn't getting bad breaks or slumping, he looks like he's never seen a baseball before when he bats.
NEERFAN Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Lack of right handed bats on the bench has to be a concern. Ross has to be a concern since he hasn't done squat since the first half of last season and that seemed to be a guy playing well above the back of his card. Phillips is solid defensively so I can deal with that but Ross gave up 5 steals on Friday.
oldrambler Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Ross worries me for sure along with the pitching (as always) with the exception of "the big two", We need ptching................imo try and make a deal however you can for Brandon Webb - Yes, send Griff to Zona  (they may not take just him, git-r-done if at all possible) Stupid play in the field and "questionable" decisions/strategy also worries me.
