I think this is a good hire for UK.Bluegrass Preps is the best message board on the Planet.

They were showing some of the post live on 27 and and my post was right below one they were reading. I was hoping they were going to read mine!

He seems overwhelmed a bit.

This is my guy... So I'm extremely happy.

Great choice!! I really like him. I said in another thread that he was my A-plan choice. I'm pumped toooooooooooooo.

I will have to wait and see. Seems like he became a hot commodity after a SINGLE season. He has not had much success in the NCAA tournament and doesn't have much to hang his hat on.

 

What he does will determine whether I am happy or not. I don't know much about the guy except that their isn't a lot to know about the guy.

For now. I'm happy with it, and I'll stick by Billy Clyde, but we'll have to wait and see what happens when the season starts whether everyone else will be.

I've watched a 1hr program, on Coach G and he seems intense, demands focus, organized and passionate about basketball.

 

He got Texas A&M, into an elite group this year. I think UK, did very well. The true measuring stick, will be time and implementing his scheme, style of play and finding the right players, to match his system.

Was that Elite group the Sweet 16? Because that will not be accepted at UK.

The more I hear about him the more I like him.

We didn't even make the sweet 16 the last two years so yes it's an improvement from that. It was elite for A&M and if he can do that there the sky's the limit here. He sure is giving all the right answers at the press conference.
