April 6, 200719 yr Texas A & M took the best College Football coach in school history from UK in Bear Bryant and we take the best College Basketball coach in thier history in Billy G. I hope it works the same way for us it did for them. GO BIG BLUE

April 6, 200719 yr No way UK is in the NIT next season IMO... I agree. He's shown he can coach VERY well with other people's recruits. Add a couple of his own and UK will do just fine.

April 6, 200719 yr So we weren't happy with a coach that went to three Elite 8's with HIS players and are excited about a coach that has never made it to an Elite 8. Congrats to Coach G. Guaranteed that this job will make you DIZZY (most famous Gillespie I could think of) at times. I hope you have equal success to our last coach and enjoy your 7-10 years as UK coach.
