May 24, 200719 yr I'll be there Mon. afternoon in the diamond seats, and hopefully closer to the action than Jerry who quite possibly may be in another town by then. Who knows, perhaps Bucky-ball will catch fire. Sadly, Bucky will no doubt do somewhat better, I doubt he could have poorer success, the Reds will finish from this point at or just above .500 for the remainder of the campaign and there will be an outcry to keep him at the end of the season, and we'll be in this predicament again next season.

May 24, 200719 yr Has there been any whispers about Hamilton and the DL? Getting sent back to Cincy over his illness raised a few eyebrows with some other people I talked to in Florida. On a side note, the Reds are 12-17 when Hamilton starts, and 6-12 when he doesn't. Having something along the lines of gastroenteritis myself, I know that when you are sick, YOU ARE SICK. I know there will always be that question about him from his past, but it seems this might be a bit quick to not even give him the benefit of the doubt. Plus, I'd imagine his years of abuse may contribute to his condition. Not sure, but let's wait before we jump on the guy...hopefully he will continue to be the feel good story in what looks to be a dreadful Reds season.

May 24, 200719 yr Coffey FINALLY gone, only bad thing is that he will be brought back up eventually. BUT at least he is gone for now til Majewski gets hurt again within two weeks.

So how about Dunn's dad threatens to fire Kazmir's dad unless Scott demands a trade to the Reds? Think that'll help.
