March 24, 200719 yr Bad calls are made in every game but this one is tougher for Vandy to swallow because it was at the end, but I don't see the difference between this and say a bad call in the first half of a game won by a point. Refs miss things and I don't think that the game should be tainted because of the timing of the (no)call.

It s pitiful to see so many outcomes determined by calls/ no calls. 3 games and counting that the zebras changed the outcome. X, SIU and now Vandy. 3 referees and not one sees the man with ball in his hand travel? Come on. And yes, that was a blatant travel. If you have established a pivot foot and then lift it with the other foot on the ground then you have changed your pivot foot: travel. Guys thats Basketball 101. Hope the refs get it right today.

Its impossible to tell at game speed. Too many feet in the picture.

March 24, 200719 yr Which call/non-call in the KU/SIU game are you referring to? The foul with 3. something secs to put KU on the line to win the game. That was a touch foul and is never called at the end of a close game. You usually see near fist fights at the end of these type games with no call and the clock going to 0:00.
