March 24, 200719 yr How I don't get it? He traveled how can you agree with the call. This may be the first time I have ever agreed with Billy Packer and thats not easy for me. If you need super slo mo to see if that foot came off of the floor then the refs made the right call under those circumstances.

It's a matter of perception....Some could see that replay and not see any substantial proof that his foot left the ground, others may see that it clearly did. I had to watch it 3 or 4 times, before I could definitely say that it left the ground.

March 24, 200719 yr How can you possibly think that. He picked up his pivot foot. HT - if your only argument is "he picked up his pivot foot," you're not being clear. You have to finish the statement by stating what he did AFTER he lifted his pivot foot before a determination can be made.
March 24, 200719 yr It's never good to have a great game tainted by something like this, but while I do believe it was a travel, I can understand why the refs didn't call it... With 2.5 seconds left, there's tons of things for them to keep their eyes on at the end, and a play that happened as quickly as that could be missed... Sad, but these guys are human and it happens. Bottomline is Vandy had their opportunities all throughought this game to put Georgetown away and they couldn't capitalize on it. Congrats to Georgetown for doing what they had to do to win.

March 24, 200719 yr That was a horrible no call and it cost Vandy a trip to the Elite 8. Oh well, refs are human. Jeff Green still hit a tough shot.
