November 8, 200718 yr Yes Tubby probably would have been blasted. I agree. But, then again these are Tubby's players we are seeing tonight for the most part. Tubby left UK with an enormous deficit in talent on the hardwood. If UK loses to GW in 4 years, then I'm sure the UK fans will blast BG.

November 8, 200718 yr Dude its the 2nd game and to be honest if UK would have gotten rid of Tubby 2 years ago UK probably would not be in as bad of shape as they are now......... Yeah lets get rid of a coach who had I think the best record in NCAA basketball from 03 to 05 I believe with two overall #1 seeds and two elite 8's. I mean that really would have looked great for UK...I mean I know I heard it last year, and a lot of you act like we have been bad for years, and that was not true at all. Yeah the last two years were not so good, yet we still managed to finish better than the team everyone loves to hate in Duke. So even in the last two years which were not that great, we still did better than another top program, yet no one wanted that coached fired...As I have said from the beginning the people like you who just really hate Tubby, most likely just have not liked him from the beginning, and wouldn't have no matter what he did..I mean you can't convince me that say if Tubby did make the final four in 04 instead of losing in double overtime that you all still woudn't want him gone. He with a lot of fans here at UK couldn't do anything to make people like him. So it made things seem a lot worst than they really were, and that is obvious to me from listening to your alls post about it the last couple of years..I mean you all acted like we had been terrible ever since Tubby got here, instead of just the last two years. And as I said even the last two years we still did better than that other program everyone hates in Duke..

November 8, 200718 yr For all those in favor of the firing Tubby, you got what you wanted. This is a sad day for UK basketball IMO. We take a big step back, and it might be a while until UK is back on top. Hope you guys are happy now.:cry: . awwww....poor thing.
November 8, 200718 yr I'm right behind him but forgive me if I am a little concerned about landing big time recruits when has landed 1 thats right 1 top 50 recruit and has never gone to an Elite 8. Patterson/Legion possible Singleton. Miller and Liggins next year. And please quit crying.
