Lucas' dad stated yesterday that he did not know if Tubby's leaving UK made any difference in his son's decision...........he said the biggest factor was Green going pro.

Green didn't turn pro until Tubby was looking at fishing cabins on a lake in Minnesota. You don't think his dad id going to throw UK under the bus like that do you???

I don't see how that would be throwing UK under the bus, especially considering Tubby left on his own accord. I really think that Lucas did not come to UK because of Bradley, Jasper, Meeks, Crawford, Porter & Legion. If Tubby had stayed, maybe he would have come....but we will never know that for certain.

 

I believe that Patterson was more likely to come to UK because of Tubby, but the roster situation of his top three teams still gives UK a good shot.

Jmo but I believe that both of them were U.K. bound if Tubby has stayed. There is no way to know any of that for sure and right now it really doesn't matter. I frankly woud be suprised if PP comes to U.K. now.

If he looks at Duke's roster, he would be competing with sophomores Zoubek, Boykin & Thomas for playing time on the block. At Florida he would more than likely back up Speights, who will start along with Hodge, Powell, Mitchell & Werner IMO. Tyus and Parsons are also freshman PF's who will be coming to Florida that will also be in the mix along with Lucas and Calathes at the guard spots. At UK, his main oppostion for PT would be Carter.

Dude its the 2nd game and to be honest if UK would have gotten rid of Tubby 2 years ago UK probably would not be in as bad of shape as they are now.........
