I'm not seeing the connection, guys. Maybe these 2 come to UK if Tubby was still here, maybe they don't.. Billy Gillispie has been at UK one month... Lucas and Patterson (may come, may not) would have helped speed up the process, but this is just a minor speedbump... Especially when you consider most of us penciled this in ages ago... It's not new news.

In my opinion this thread is weak. It is obvious that BCG is a better recruiter than Tubby ever was. I think you guys shouldn't judge BCG because PP and Jia Lucas might not sign with UK. At least BCG was working on some fallbacks. If this was Tubby we would have struckout on both kids and had to start fresh for someone else.

Why? Today's events are completely unrelated to Tubby quitting.

How so because I seem to recall somewhere that PP and Lucas were going to commit to UK at the Burger boy game until Tubby got "fired".

With Tubby history repeated itself too many times. I'd be willing to bet that the same thing would have happened this year. BCG still had a chance with these recruits and he has only been here for a little more than a month now.

No but sources say it was good to go. :lol: :lol:J/K about sources but I'm pretty sure that was a well know "rumor" at the time.

In fairness to Gillispie, he did get Legion.

I am by no means bashing him at all. I know he didn't have enough time but he still has never landed a big time recruit. I guess Jordan counts but he isn't at UK so not really. :lol: I think we will be ok but until he gets one at UK my thoughts are still the same on this.

Legion is about 10 spots higher than Lucas on Scout and 3 spots below him on Rivals... I think it's safe to say that if Lucas is considered a big recruit, Legion is as well... Especially considering Lucas was just a burger boy because of connections.

Well, let us see if he can coach "Tubby's team" and better than what Tubby did last year. That will tell us a lot.

They both said that UK was "on their list". At no time did either say they were going to commit to UK.
