Mississippi St. 84 UK 82 (OT)

Ok, so it's Tubby Smith's fault, that Randolph Morris missed two free throws, which were actually Bobby Perry's free throws, but Tubby Smith missed the free throws?

I have already that is not OTS fault. The two big OTS errors was the lane violation and overall decisions like not fouling with less than five seconds and not getting a shot at the end of the game again.

We shouldn't be just one play away from beating an NIT team

with 3 players fouled out.

Morris having the game of his career.

Meeks playing arguably his best game of the year.

I'm tired of hearing about UK struggling against a "NIT" team. This is March. The playing field is even.

That was Tubby's fault how?

Well......

Good job Cats. Lots of effort and hustle.

Heck of a game to watch.

This team has talent and heart.

It just comes together inconcistently but everyone should be back next year.

I really wonder how they will play in the next game?

Do they get hyped up or will this loss eat at them.

Being so close, having such a great game then the bubble bursts!

I'm tired of hearing about it too...we're UK...we're not supposed to repeatedly struggle to beat teams of that caliber...and too often fall short of even getting the victory.

Understatement of the year: Tough loss.

I still don't understand why or how you can call a lane violation on a dead ball. I thought that the time out was granted first. Oh well, there was terrible officiating both ways today. We have to wait on Sunday evening now to see where we go, how we are seeded and the opponet.

My guess is that U.K. will be anywhere from an 8 to a 10 seed.

I gues that I will spend the rest of this tourney rooting against Eddie Munster, tarzan/jane and the Gators. :D

????????????????????????????????????????????????

MSU is even with KY in March??????????????????? Wow that's something to be proud of.................

I think he wants his team to be better than the direction Tubby is taking them.

I understand that some want a change at the top, but I wouldn't think any UK fan would want them to lose, to accomplish that.

All of you very knowledgeable basketball fans on here does not agree with me on the lane violation. OTS waived them off the line so they would not foul. The replays showed it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hypothetically -- If Kentucky had won, would we have had enough gas to seriously compete tomorrow? I know I would have liked to find out, but I was just curious what everybody else thought?

Anything can happen in March. Heck, the 4 bottom dwellers in the ACC won their first round games yesterday. Just because you're supposed to be better than a team doesn't matter this time of the year. Bring your 'A' game and hope to get some lucky breaks or you're going home.

We will never know. A comeback win like that would have been a huge boost though.

He waived him off yes, but Meeks did not have the ball when Thomas left the lane. On top of that , the official called the TO before the other official signaled for the lane violation.

As I said, it's a questionable call, that never gets made, and these guys do it with 5 ticks left....

In a word, no.

They are not a 7...they may be a 10....a 7, would put them somewhere around #28...and we know that's not true.

Make UK a 9. Match them up against Duke. Because Duke is no better than UK. The call I have a problem with is, letting State tie it up with a 3 at the end of regulation. Foul him at half court and at best he cuts it to 1.
