March 9, 200719 yr I know Kentucky has struggled recently, but a 10 seed would mean they are around the 40th best team in the country. A 7 seed puts them around the top 30. We will see what happens come sunday, I still say this team has a shot to make the sweet 16 depending on their draw.
March 9, 200719 yr How many unique ways can UK lose at the end of a game? Added one more today with the ole' "Shooting a free throw for the win lane violation when the player thought a timeout was called" play. Brilliant.
March 9, 200719 yr They did. NO...not with 3. 7 seconds. When Crawford came down and drove left to have his shot blocked.
March 9, 200719 yr I have been watching basketball like anyone here on the board since November and I can't remember seeing a lane violation before this game.
March 9, 200719 yr Why does everyone on this team think they have to do everything theirselves? Crawford wouldn't give up the chance to make the shots and Bradley has did that in several other games. Who lost this game for Kentucky? I wouldn't blame it on any one player. It was just what has become typical UK basketball the past two seasons. Find a way to lose.
March 9, 200719 yr Dem Gator boyz are gonna roll through this tourney. Yes, thank you for your input and fine grammar.

March 9, 200719 yr The end comes down to execution. Crawford plays well but then forces it and doesn't even look for Morris. Morris plays great but misses two huge free throws. Then the lane violation. Don't even get me started on that one. I've never thought Thomas was a UK caliber player but I liked him because he hustled and accepted the role he was given and that makes me feel that much worse for him. As for calling timeouts, I think we need to quit calling TO's to set up plays at the end of games. We seem to turn it over more often than not--I honestly think we tighten up with the play stoppage. Overall, I am happy about the heart we showed (for once), just dissatisfied with the brains.
March 9, 200719 yr NO...not with 3. 7 seconds. When Crawford came down and drove left to have his shot blocked. Didn't they? Perry to Meeks on the inbound Meeks calls a quick TO?
March 9, 200719 yr Darned if you do, darned if you don't. The Morris/Crawford high screen had been working... I don't blame him for letting them play. It was working. Then coach the other guys for the rebound or the box out. I like having a gameplan with the game on the line. Not just letting Crawford put his head down and dribble. Even though he was getting penetration that way..MSU got used to him not passing it off after getting in.
March 9, 200719 yr Didn't they? Perry to Meeks on the inbound Meeks calls a quick TO? Hes talking about before they had to foul.
