How did this guy not offer Coach Jones a job on the coaching staff? Maybe it was the way he ran the ball all over the Greendevils?

 

I have no clue who Coach Jones is. I'm guessing he had something to do with the offense. Regardless, I don't remember Holmes being very good offensively against good competition.

Pros and Cons:

 

1) HHS vs HHS week is going to stink...period.

2) I have yet another reason to root against CCH for another week. (sorry boys)

3) I hate red.

4) I have nothing left to paint.

I dont know the guy, but his record at Dayton was far from impressive. He may have tuned the pprogram around?? but IMO there was nowhere else to go but to win a few games in Dayton I think Holmes shuold have brought a more experienced coach and a coach with more work with inner city children

I think you have to look at where the program ended up compared to where he started. He did a good job at Dayton.:thumb:

Does anyone know when he will begin weights and conditioning for next season? I agree with a previous poster, that's the base of a successful program and he is a nut when it comes to that stuff. I can only imagine his style with the athletic kids that will be playing for him.

He is going over to Holmes in the afternoons and getting in the weightroom with them.
