Apparently they want to make sure Tubby is still the coach. I usually don't put much stock in these kind of rumors, however, it does validate some of the things I've been hearing recently so who knows...
February 23, 200719 yr Patterson's mother mentioned to someone last week that one of the big lure's to UK is because of Jai Lucas. Did she tip her hand or Lucas's? Who knows....

I wouldn't understand Patterson going to Florida on an unofficial visit if he had already decided on UK! However, maybe he wants to keep his options open in case something would happen w/Tubby. So if Tubby is here and he will be then Patterson could come to UK, possibly . If something happens and Tubby is gone for whatever reason Patterson would have options.

Both have played many minutes this year, especially for freshmen. And he may go pro, but I still don't think Morris is ready. It's still questionable if he can go high enough to be in the money. And he could go undrafted again. He had better give it a long look before he makes any kind of decision that he might later regret.

February 23, 200719 yr The CP has deteriorated in quality of information. You can get some good articles and so forth, but the majority of the informed posters have moved on elsewhere. The overall negativity on their boards is over the top.

If they are waiting, couldn't that put the job in jeopardy? Why do they want to play for a coach that doesn't run or put people in the pros?
