February 21, 200719 yr Another slow start by the Cats, and another comeback was needed, this time they got the job done and got the W. 11 for 11 at the FT line in the 2nd half really did help. Meeks played great and Morris did show up for this one, he had a DD.Only 11 TOs,the press was good, need to do more of it in games to come. Cats need to start putting some wins togather now in order to build for a higher seed in the NCAA.
February 21, 200719 yr You know...you're optomism is appealing...but can be mis-guided. Optimism. Had to get ya back for "verbage".
February 21, 200719 yr Optimism. Had to get ya back for "verbage". Maybe you guys could challenge him to a spelling contest.
February 21, 200719 yr I was at the game tonight and UK didnt look good at all. Morris is LAZY and he will never amount to anything in the NBA even though he does somehow get 18 points a game. Meeks was our best player out there tonight hands down. UK needs to wake up and smell the roses! Its almost tourney time! And if they dont look out for another early exit!
February 21, 200719 yr So this is what a normal UK thread looks like... I had already forgotten.

Actually Morris might be better suited for the NBA game. At least there he won't be expected to play defense until at least April.
February 21, 200719 yr The funny thing is with that last little bucket LSU covers. I'm sure gamblers all over the country are either blessing or cursing that one little made basket with .6 seconds. Hey Gunner11, did it cost you your wager? Was wondering that same thing.
February 21, 200719 yr Not really. They have played well at times all year. They have lost some really close games that they should have won a number of times. Really Davis draws so much attention if the other guys could shoot just a little in a lot of games they would have won. The biggest problem to me appears to be ball-handling and some really poor shot selection at critical times. Agreed, LSU can still be very scary. They have lost 6 games this year by 4 points or less. Lest we forget this LSu team, not tonights, but one with Big Baby beat Texas A&M. Shot selection is a killer. The Johnson kid they brought in off the bench, was a shooting fool, and it wasn't pretty.
February 21, 200719 yr I just realized on the box score that we only had six players score in this game. ALSO, the biggie for me is Jasper player 27 and had ZERO FG attempts...WOW. Jasper is a liability on the halfcourt. When things are going up and down he has very good vision, but when they are in teh half court, he is a detriment. For maximum offensive capability, OTS should run the lineup of Bradley, Crawford, Meeks, Stevenson, and Morris out there.

As soon as he hit that I told my dad and sister's boyfriend that I bet they blew the Vegas line. I got on the computer and sure enough it did! It's like it never fails when it happens. I then got a chuckle because somebody on BGP accused them of point shaving last week!
